How to Install WordPress in cPanel Manually
Once you have ready with all aspects, you need to upload WordPress on your server. Now login in cPanel by typing your domain URL in browser address bar followed by /cPanel, eg, www.yourdomain.com/cPanel, fill the username and password and navigate to file manager icon.
It will let you jump to a new tab. (if you got any popup for directory selection, so) Select public_htm directory. Here you have to upload a downloaded WordPress zip file, on the top menu click on upload link or icon and browse the WordPress zip file from your local computer.
After successfully uploaded, unzip or extract the zip file in the public_html folder. It will be showing you something in a folder name as WordPress followed by version.
If you like to install WordPress in a subfolder (like yourdomain.com/blog), then rename and unzip into the folder to your desired name /public_html/blog/.
Or if you want to install WordPress in cPanel on your root domain then, browse the folder by double clicks and move all files and folder in the root directory (public_html) in cPanel.
Create a database for WordPress installation in cPanel
Now open your domain URL in the browser it will show you further steps, to configure database, username, password, etc. to install WordPress in cPanel of your domain.
Now it’s time to create MySQL database username and database password manually. In the cPanel home page find the MySql database icon, it will ask you to create a database filed. Enter your desired database name, and click “Create Database.”
